·In this mode (STA mode), through settings, the data of COM1 and WiFi can be converted mutually.

·The WiFi device can connect to the product and become a device under the WiFi LAN.
·WiFi security supports all current encryption methods.
The serial port/network data conversion of the product is divided into 4 modes: TCP Server, TCP Clinet, UDP Server, UDP Client.
TCP Server
·In this mode, the module monitors the specified port and waits for the TCP Client to connect. After connection, all TCP data is sent directly to the serial port, and the data on the serial port is sent to all TCP Clients. When the module acts as a TCP Server, it supports up to 2 TCP Clients to connect to the TCP Server.
TCP Client
·In this mode, the module connects to the specified domain name/IP and port. All data sent from the TCP Server end is sent directly to the serial port, and the data from the serial port is sent to the TCP Server end.
·The abnormal network will cause the product to reconnect actively. When TCP active reconnection is available, TCP Server actively disconnects, and the product will actively reconnect immediately, otherwise the module will not reconnect
UDP Server
·In this mode, the module opens the local designated port. Once the data sent to this port is received, the module will send the data to the serial port and record the remote IP and port. The module will only record the remote information of the last connection. The data received by the serial port will be sent directly to the recorded remote IP and port.
UDP Client
·In this mode, the module directly sends serial port data to the specified ip and port. The data returned from the server will be sent to the serial port.

Question 2: What is the RM58D working mode and status light indication?
Module working modes include transparent transmission mode (default) and AT command mode.
The transparent transmission mode cannot send AT commands. In the AT mode, the configuration tool can be used to configure parameters and query parameter information. After the parameter configuration is completed, the module will automatically connect to the router in the transparent transmission mode, and establish a TCP/UDP connection through the connection network to realize serial data transparent transmission.
Configure the indicator status corresponding to the networking mode:
1. In STA mode, the WiFi light is on for 3 times;
2. AP mode, 2.4G WiFi light flashes 4 times, 5.8G WiFi light flashes 5 times).
Question 3: How does the module enter the AT mode?
Method 1: Ground the 16 pins (0.1~3s) seconds.
Method 2: Develop the ES0/default button of the baseboard: short press (0.1~3s).
*Remember: GroundOr press the button for more than 6 seconds to restore the factory settings, and the network configuration information and configuration parameters will be deleted.
Question 4: How to restart the module?
Method 1: Short press the 42 pin to ground (0.1~3s).
Method two: short press the RST button on the development board and short press (0.1~3s).
Question 5: What does the WiFi indicator mean?
1. Periodic three flashes: the module is in STA mode but not connected to the target AP hotspot
2. Periodic four flashes: the module is in AP_2.4G mode, but it cannot indicate whether there is a STA Client device connected;
3. Periodic five flashes: The module is in AP_5.8G mode, but it cannot indicate whether there is a STA Client device connected;
4. Irregular fast flashing: The module WiFi has been connected to the target AP hotspot, and the module LED will flash quickly when there is data transmission.
