Typical EMC application diagram and recommended parameters

1. The output filter capacitor C1 removes high-frequency noise. It is recommended to use a 1μF ceramic capacitor. The capacitor withstand voltage derating is greater than 80%.
2. The output filter capacitor C2 is an electrolytic capacitor. It is recommended to use a high frequency and low resistance electrolytic capacitor with a capacity of 100uF/1A output current. The capacitor withstand voltage derating is greater than 80%.
3. TVS tube is recommended to protect the subsequent circuit (when the module is abnormal). Recommend to use 600W model
Recommended for 5V output: SMBJ7.0A; Recommended for 9V output: SMBJ12.0A; Recommended for 12V output: SMBJ20A; 15V output recommended: SMBJ20.0A; Recommended for 24V output: SMBJ30.0A; 48V output recommended: SMBJ64A 4. MOV is a varistor, recommended model: 10D561K (1000V surge) or 14D561K (2000V surge), which is used to protect the module from damage during lightning surge.
5. For general application requirements of customers, use the recommended circuit shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2. If there is an EMC requirement, please use the recommended circuit shown in Figure 3. The specific recommended values in Figure 3 are as follows:
1) Varistor MOV: Recommended model: 14D-561K, which is used to protect the module from damage during lightning surge.
2) Safety capacitors CY1, CY2: 1000pF/400VAC;
3) Safety capacitor CX: 0.1μF/275VAC;
4) Common mode inductance LCM: 20mH-30mH;
5) FUSE (fuse tube): must be connected, the recommended specification is 3.15A/250V, slow break.

Ripple & noise test: twisted pair method 20MHz bandwidth

testing method:

1. Ripple noise is connected using 12# twisted pair, the oscilloscope bandwidth is set to 20MHz, 100M bandwidth probe, and 0.1uF polypropylene capacitor and 47uF high frequency low resistance electrolytic capacitor are connected in parallel to the probe end, and the oscilloscope sampling uses Sample sampling mode .

2. Connect the power input terminal to the input power supply, and the power output is connected to the electronic load through the fixture board. For testing, use a 30cm±2cm sampling line to sample directly from the power output port. The power line selects the corresponding wire diameter wire with insulation according to the output current. (As shown in FIG)
