HLK-RM08N has two serial ports up to 2Mbps, built-in 5 Ethernet ports, which can be connected to the network through a network cable, built-in complete TCP/IP protocol stack, and has complete software and hardware networking capabilities.
After the module is connected to the network cable and connected to the network, the IP address of the module can be found in the network. The access module only needs to follow the set transmission protocol (TCP or UDP) and establish a transparent transmission connection with the module through the IP + port number to perform serial-network connection. data communication.

ES0 function description:
1. The Exit/Default of the bottom board corresponds to the ES0 pin of the module;
2. ES0 inputs low level when the button is pressed, and is left floating when it is not pressed.
Factory restoration method:
1. Through the input pins of the module: After the module is started, the ES0 or ES1 pin inputs a low level for 6s～12s to restore the factory settings;
2. Serial AT command or UDP network AT command sends ResetD to restore the default setting command.
The module supports two networking methods, wired routing and wired bridging, and users can modify different networking methods through the Network Mode parameter.
In the default mode, the parameters related to networking are:
WAN port IP, the IP address used by the module under the upper-level routing, dynamically obtained or static IP, when using static IP, you need to set the value of static IP and the IP of the gateway.
The LAN port IP and DHCP service switch are used to set the IP and network segment of the module’s LAN port. When the DHCP service of the LAN port is enabled, the module can assign dynamic IP addresses to the devices connected to the LAN port (the same network segment as the module’s LAN IP) of).
In the default mode, the parameters related to networking are:
If you want to use the serial port transparent transmission function in this mode, you must set the LAN IP of the module to an IP address valid under the upper-level router (equivalent to a static IP under the upper-level router), and set the LAN Gateway IP as the IP of the upper-level router .
Working current measured
The module has a large operating current at the moment of startup, and the peak current can reach about 200mA. After starting, the average working current is about 95mA when the network cable is not inserted; the current increases by about 20mA for each network cable inserted.
Serial port heartbeat packet function and configuration
Up to 10 heartbeat data can be set, each can be switched on and off separately, the data is in hexadecimal format, and the maximum length is 64 bytes;
Sending cycle: how often to send a round, when each sending cycle comes, send all the open heartbeat data once, the unit is 1s;
Sending interval: how long is the interval after each data is sent before sending the next one, the unit is 1s
